KinderPark Early Learning Centre Mundaring
KinderPark Early Learning Centre Mundaring has been part of the hills community for over twenty years. Operating out of a purpose-built facility, the centre is conveniently located at the rear of the main shopping centre.
The centre operates out of three rooms and caters for children aged up to 5 years old. Each room opens onto a spacious outdoor play area that incorporates a variety of elements, all designed to encourage children to develop motor skills and coordination.
Food is an important part of life and our children grow their own vegetables in the centre veggie garden. These products are then used in centre meals, assisting children to understand the process of ‘planter box to plate’ and introducing them to the concepts of sustainability and being planet positive.

Why is early education important?
We are so lucky to work in early education as it paves the way for children from birth, to develop lifelong skills, shaping their emotional, physical and intellectual worlds. Development in children between the ages of 0-5 shapes huge milestones for them such as gross and fine motor skills, social interactions, problem solving and language. Early education offers children wonderful opportunities for life and encourages positive, warm experiences and relationships to stimulate children’s development.
Why do you love what you do?
It’s all about the children! Seeing faces light up during learning experiences, little bodies moving around with joy and happiness and growth and development of each individual child draws me to work each and every day. There’s no greater pleasure than knowing that you’ve contributed to help a little person get big and get big the best they can be!
What is unique and special about our team?
Our team have a perfect mix of experienced educators and dedicated trainees, providing the love and care for children like they were our own. Surrounded by nature, our team are able to create environments and excitement with children that is relevant to our local area. We consider the free nature and spirit of children in our care, and our team support our children through uniquely designed programming to fit their needs. Our team share a love of the environment we work in which is specific to us here in Mundaring.
What do you love about the Mundaring community?
Our hills community is close knit and thrive in the beautiful bush surrounds and nature-based mentality. The national parks, historical sites and stunning landscapes keep everyone outdoors, active and inspired. The name Mundaring in the Aboriginal Noongar language is said to translate to “a high place on a high place” or “the place of the grass tree leaves”. This is name captures the spirit of the community and it’s beauty.
