KinderPark Early Learning Centre Mundaring

KinderPark Early Learning Centre Mundaring has been part of the hills community for over twenty years. Operating out of a purpose-built facility, the centre is conveniently located at the rear of the main shopping centre.

The centre operates out of three rooms and caters for children aged up to 5 years old. Each room opens onto a spacious outdoor play area that incorporates a variety of elements, all designed to encourage children to develop motor skills and coordination.

Food is an important part of life and our children grow their own vegetables in the centre veggie garden. These products are then used in centre meals, assisting children to understand the process of ‘planter box to plate’ and introducing them to the concepts of sustainability and being planet positive.

Why is early education important?

Early education is important as it provides the foundation for a child’s social, emotional, and educational journey. Early education helps to build strength and skills through play and interaction with others.

What is unique and special about your team?

At KinderPark Mundaring we pride ourselves in having a strong family-like connection within our Co-worker group. We embrace diversity in our centre and ensure that we provide the best quality of care through embracing each individual Co-workers strength.

Our team enjoys creating safe and exciting spaces for our children to interact and develop.

Why is wellness important to your families?

Wellness is important as it helps to guide rich and respectful relationships between children’s families and Co-workers. Wellness is being able to leave the centre knowing that your child is going to be safe, supported and included. Focussing on wellness, along with creating safe environments, helps to support and guide social and emotional behaviours in our children.

What do you love about the Mundaring community?

Mundaring is a lovely close-knit community that has amazing scenic bush and natural surroundings. We are very lucky to have nature at our doorstep and do our best to utilise this within our experiences at the centre. We are further away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this encourages us to be outdoors in the lovely sunshine enjoying the company of others
