KinderPark Early Learning Centre Hillman

KinderPark Early Learning Centre Hillman is conveniently located next to Hillman Primary School. The building has a rich and diverse history in the heart of the Hillman community. Several of our parents remember visiting the building when it was a delicatessen to spend hard-earned pocket money on an ice cream!

Operating three rooms, the centre retains a homely feel that both families and children attending the centre frequently comment on. Each room opens onto a dedicated yard space and these yards provide a balance between space and nature. Our veggie garden is a great space to relax and watch plants flourish!

Great conversations are had when we get together
with family and friends and share a meal. This is no different for children attending care, and we encourage a lifelong passion for nutritious healthy eating for all our children.

Why is early education important?

Early education lays the foundation for lifelong learning. It supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning within a safe and nurturing environment.

The first five years of life are a critical period of development. Positive experiences and warm, responsive relationships during this time stimulate children’s growth by creating millions of connections in their brains. In fact, children’s brains develop faster in the first five years than at any other time in life, laying the foundations for future learning, health, and behaviour.

What do you love about the Hillman community?

Our Hillman community is welcoming, supportive, and strongly family focused. There is a genuine sense of connection, where families, children, local services, and Co-workers work together to support each child and foster a strong sense of belonging.

Why is wellness important to your families?

Wellness supports happy, healthy children and families. When wellbeing is prioritised, children are better able to learn, regulate their emotions, and build strong, secure relationships.

Families value environments that support the whole child, not only their learning, but also their mental, emotional, and physical health knowing that a strong sense of wellbeing helps children thrive.

What is special and unique about your team?

Our co-workers are passionate, caring, and deeply committed to each child’s individual journey. We value collaboration, ongoing reflection, and strong partnerships with families, which allows us to create a warm, inclusive environment where both children and educators thrive.

We are proud of the strong relationships we have built with our families and warmly welcome new families into our community with open arms.
