KinderPark Early Learning Centre Medina

KinderPark Early Learning Centre Medina is located centrally to service families in surrounding areas. Each room is dedicated to support children’s individual learning and development. The centre caters for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, and each age group is supported by a dedicated team of Co-workers who are passionate about providing a unique learning experience for all.

The centre maintains a strong focus on sustainability as we work with our children to develop an understanding of our responsibilities. Through maintaining gardens and a worm farm to excursions to parks and nature areas, children develop an interest and curiosity in how they can contribute to being planet positive.

Our outdoor spaces support open ended play adapting to the children’s current interests. They present a good balance of open space and areas to challenge motor skills and coordination. This, coupled with natural shade and covered pergolas, make them a fantastic space to be outdoors whatever the weather.

Why is early education important?

I believe that early education is paramount to the foundation of a child, their development, their wellbeing and their adventures throughout the years of their educational journey.

I particularly value the nature of play-based learning and all that this promotes within and early childhood environment. I believe that children thrive in environments where they feel safe, supported and connected, and I believe that with reciprocal and respectful relationships, connection is the paving stones for quality early learning.

What do you love about the Medina community?

I appreciate the diversity within the local community. This extends to the open-natured partnerships that have been developed with the families and Co-workers here at KinderPark Medina, and how this extends to the local community.

I believe that community partnerships, events and support promote the change needed for future generations, and endeavour to drive change with our younger generations through our educational programs, integration of the families beliefs in our discussions and an invitation to learn from others.

Why is wellness important to your families?

Wellness as a whole determines how we experience and perceive life experiences; both positive and negative, and how we educate our children to respond to life events.

It is important to promote physical, spiritual and mental wellness within our local community of families and children, our Co-workers and in the wider community. The Co-workers at KinderPark Medina aspire to achieve this by approaching each situation with an open mind and by encouraging and supporting our community in various ways.

What is unique and special about your team?

The team at KinderPark Medina consistently demonstrate dedication to their craft. They have adopted a TEAM mentality; Together Everyone Achieves More, and view one another as a support network.

They demonstrate leadership skills such as being a life-long learner and understand that every day encountered is different and flexibility is paramount to promoting quality practices that set out children up, ready for life!
